Young Jeezy-Put On
Why not go for some raw, gritty rap music that is the face of your hometown? Georgia Tech is in Atlanta, so you have got to do a song representing the city. Young Jeezy’s “Put On” is a trap music anthem that any native of any city should be proud to play to represent where they are from.
This is a huge pump-up songs that teams should be using during starting lineups and teams coming out onto the field or court anyway. If you have a marching band playing it, you make it much more impressive.
You could have the saxophones and second trumpets play the melodic part of the beat. The french horns and baritones along with first trumpets could play Jeezy’s part when he says “I put on for my city.”
And then the other low brass instruments could come in once the beat comes in fully during the verses. The fans would be able to shout out that they put on for their city, and everybody at the games would be ultra-psyched to be a part of it.
The hype of that song makes it the most pump-up song anybody could use, and it is right in Georgia Tech’s backyard. Take it before somebody else does!
