Ohio State Buckeyes

T.I. ft. Rihanna-Live Your Life

This is the perfect celebratory song for being on top of the world, and the Ohio State Buckeyes are on top of the world after winning another national championship in 2014 under Urban Meyer, their second under two separate head coaches in less than 15 years.

The Buckeyes faced adversity to get there as well after the probation that came following Jim Tressel’s resignation. This song is the trademark song of T.I.’s Paper Trail album, written while he was on probation and facing jail time. Both came out of the ashes from that to celebrate, and this can stick with the Buckeyes for years.

The band could work out the kinks to play the song perfectly, and when the melodic part where Rihanna says “Live Your Life” comes, the fans could shout “Hey!!!” They could do exactly what T.I. does in the chorus, and everybody would get involved with it.

The music is very layered, and that makes for lots of great things the marching band can do when putting together this epic song.

But most importantly, it would allow the Buckeyes a chance to consistently celebrate their status in the college football world and particularly atop the Big Ten.
