Purdue Boilermakers

Pharrell-Happy

The Purdue Boilermakers football program has had significant highs and insanely significant lows over the past 15 years, particularly going 1-11 their first year under Darrell Hazell and now seeing signs that the team actually might be getting turned around. But through it all, they have shown optimism and encouragement.

So, hey, why not show off the fact that you are happy? I mean, Pharrell makes it clear that he does not care what anybody else says or what comes in his way, he is simply happy about his life and happy about his situation. There is no reason that Purdue fans can’t do exactly the same thing.

They are all happy to a degree because they appear to be very aware of what the program can be, and they take the negative things that happen to it in strides so as not to get too far down about everything. That makes this the perfect song.

The french horns could do the opening beat, the saxophones do the melodies to the verses, the low brass does the rest of the beat, and the trumpets add on to the melody once the chorus hits. It would be epic, and fans could let everybody know that they are happy.
