Wisconsin Badgers
Kelly Clarkson-Stronger
The Wisconsin Badgers have stood the test of time through the program that Barry Alvarez built as a head coach there, and it is time to accept that they are a college football program, not the product of one head football coach.
After all, Alvarez retired, and Bret Bielema continued the success. Bielema left, and Gary Andersen came in, installed a spread that did not fit with the team, and still saw success. After two years, he left, and in came Paul Chryst, who will simply continue what Bielema did there, so you know they will be successful.
Just like Kelly Clarkson said, what does not kill you makes you stronger. And the Wisconsin Badgers are certainly stronger due to the changes that have happened to the football program because they and their fan base all now know that they have a solid program that will not depend on one man.
Also, the Badgers run a very physical style and are known for a dominant running game with great linemen on both sides of the ball, many of whom are unheralded recruits but simply tough. Well, toughness and stronger fit perfectly, so Wisconsin and Kelly Clarkson belong together.
This is the end of the fourth of the six-part series of our suggestions for new college football fight songs. Stay tuned Tuesday for our fifth part, suggested fight songs for Big 12 teams.
