Indiana Hoosiers

Jason Aldean-Dirt Road Anthem

Have you ever been to Indiana? Just driving through it sometimes feels like tearing down a dirt road for hours. But, many college fans love this song and the concept of doing that.

So why not apply it to the Indiana Hoosiers football team?

This song gives off the vibe of a very chill fan base that likes to have a lot of fun but is tough. The Hoosiers, despite their history of losing, are trying to put together a tough football program under head coach Kevin Wilson, based on a strong running game and good offensive linemen.

So the way the offense moves the ball could kind of sound like tearing down a dirt road as well. It ain’t pretty, but it’s rough, tough, and rugged. And if it can finally start to work out, it would be the perfect them song for the Hoosiers.

This would be a bit of a difficult song for the marching band to play, but they would be able to work it out, with once again the higher pitched instruments handling the melodies and the low brass doing the guitar parts.

So Hoosier Nation, embrace this song with pride. Many fans would anyway.
