California Golden Bears

Tupac ft. Dr. Dre-California Love

This is one of those pretty self-explanatory songs. The California Golden Bears represent the state school for California, and this is the best song to throw out California and get everybody happy, even if it is nearly 20 years old. Tupac’s presence still remains.

What is perfect, though, is that Tupac represented Northern California hardcore as a guy who moved to Oakland, and Cal is all about Northern California in particular as well. But, for those fans all over the state, Dr. Dre’s part saying, “It’s all good, from Diego to the Bay” can bring in everybody at Cal who may be from other parts.

For this one, the saxophones and french horns would start it off by playing the part that is sung in the chorus and the beginning when “California Love!” comes out. The trumpets would take the lead in the beat with the low brass once again providing the harmonies.

If this played every time something great happened, everybody would love it. Fans would all love being able to hold signs that say, “California Love,” and they could shout it out every time something awesome happens as well. All of Northern California would get behind this song.
