No. 2: Georgia Bulldogs

Why they can win it: Best RB Depth in the Nation, Top Pass Defense, Coaching Staff
What help will they need: Wide Receivers and D-Line Improved play
Who’s in their way: Alabama, Auburn

Much like Michigan State, the Georgia Bulldogs are always mentioned with the best teams in their conference, but always manage to fall short. Last season they showed that they could become contenders even without an Aaron Murray type QB at the helm – no disrespect to Hutson Mason.

Right now Georgia doesn’t even know who will play quarterback, and it honestly may not matter. With a backfield consisting of Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, Keith Marshall and A.J. Turman, chances are whoever is playing QB will be placing the pigskin in someone’s gut the majority of the time.

Wide receiver was a sore spot for the Bulldogs last season, but with 5-star prospect Terry Godwin entering the fold this year, and a new offensive coordinator that can be very creative with his tight ends, that passing attack may stabilize.
