4. Deshaun Watson to Mike Williams and Artavis Scott – Clemson Tigers

The Clemson Tigers could end Florida State’s reign on the ACC if Deshaun Watson is healthy all year. The problem is Watson has been battled through a myriad of injuries since he arrived early last winter and is currently recovering from a torn ACL that kept him out of spring practice.

When he was healthy, Watson looked like a superstar in the making, throwing for 435 yards and six touchdowns in his first start. One week earlier, he nearly pulled off an upset win over Florida State. He had 12 touchdowns in his first 106 attempts but a broken hand and a knee injury limited him to two passing touchdowns the rest of the year. What’s impressive about those two touchdowns is they came against South Carolina when he played on a torn ACL and he also ran for two scores.

He’s a special talent so long as he’s on the field and the same can be said for his top two receivers, junior Mike Williams and sophomore Artavis Scott.

Williams led the team in 1,030 yards on 57 receptions with six touchdowns and Scott led the team in receptions with 76 catches and eight touchdowns. His 965 yards were the fifth most among freshmen and he peaked at the end of the year with 15 receptions for 299 yards and three touchdowns in the last two games of the year.

Watson is expected to be ready for Clemson’s season opener so everything is on track for them this offense to give them a chance at taking down the Seminoles for the ACC crown.
