  • Tebow was the consummate champion and good guy. The girls swooned for him, his teammates loved him and the media ate him up. His list of accomplishments as a Gator would take pages to recite, suffice to say he left few records unbroken and few awards out of his trophy case, including the Heisman.

When the Broncos drafted Tebow, everyone saw John Elway making a cunning move and had it in their minds that Tebow was finally the guy who could come out of Elway’s shadow at Mile High Stadium.

Despite some gutty performances and big wins, Tebow never won over the front office in Denver, much to the horror of his followers. He was exiled to New York to suffer under the reign of terror known as Rex Ryan, then to humiliations galore in New England before stepping away to try his hand at broadcasting (which, he honestly wasn’t bad).

Tebow has secured a spot this season with the Philadephia Eagles. How long that will last is anyone’s guess, as no one really knows what Chip Kelly has planned for this roster.
