Say what you will about these two coaches, but so far, they have both been successful wherever they find themselves coaching. The coaching duo of Bret Bielema and Mike Anderson is number thirteen on our list.

In Bielema’s earlier days at Arkansas, his team was a joke. In his first season in Fayetteville, his team failed to win an SEC game and finished the season with only three wins.

However, last season, totally different story. Not too often you find yourself talking about a team being a bottom-feeder one year and a contender the next, but somehow, thanks to Bielema’s coaching, the Razorbacks are now something worth talking about.

Prior to coaching at Arkansas, Bielema was wildly successful as the head coach of Wisconsin, where he coached for seven seasons and won three straight conference championships. Bielema knows what he’s doing, and Razorback fans are hopeful the best is yet to come with him.

Like Bielema, Anderson has also been successful wherever he’s coached. From UAB to Missouri to Arkansas, Anderson has worked hard to build strong basketball programs that no one likes to see on their schedule.

In his coaching career, Anderson has made seven appearances in the NCAA Tournament, including a trip to the Elite Eight when he was the head coach at UAB.

Anderson has revamped Arkansas’ basketball program, and if he and Bielema can continue to find success, the sky is the limit for the Razorbacks.
