Notching 22 offers in total, the Cardinals offered him on August 1 of last year. On January 15, Pass named Louisville one of his leaders, before visiting the program two days later. Now, his recruitment has come full circle with his commitment to the Cardinals.

With this commitment, the 2016 Louisville class ranks No. 33 nationally and No. 6 in the ACC per the 247Sports team rankings. He is the second four-star commitment of the class, joining wide receiver Desmond Fitzpatrick.
As a sophomore for Carver in the 2013 campaign, he threw for 2,197 yards, 23 touchdowns, and two interceptions. and ran for 404 yards and 11 touchdowns.
I think he is a great fit for the Louisville system. He reminds me of Teddy Bridgewater in that he make plays with his feet when the pass isn’t there and has a big arm. He’ll have to work to develop the footwork, accuracy and poise of Bridgewater but that’s what Bobby Petrino is charged with doing.
Time will tell if he can live up to the billing of Bridgewater but at the very least, he should give Cardinals fans something to be excited about.
