ACC – Florida State Seminoles

While FSU did win a national championship in 2013 and made their way to the College Football Playoff in 2014, things will have a much different look for Chief Osceola’s followers this season.

Things are unraveling fast in Tallahassee, and the Noles don’t have Jameis Winston to fall back on this year. Discipline problems, defensive issues continuing from 2014 — giving up 31, 41, 31, 35 and 59 points to Oklahoma State, NC State, Louisville, Georgia Tech and Oregon respectively — and some big holes to fill on offense can’t be overlooked.

But Florida State fans, like always, predict a national championship and complete domination of the field. Its hard to blame fans of a team who only lost one game in the last two seasons, but the window closes fast, especially when you play in the ACC and have to fall back on strength of schedule to make your case.

No one argues that the Seminoles aren’t a good team, but nowhere near the heights that fans try to elevate them on a yearly basis, especially this year.
