How are these jerseys different from the others? They have the same color scheme that has become a trademark of the Hurricanes in orange, green, and white. However, now they have what appears to be a duck-related symbol on the shoulders of the jerseys as well as on the pant legs. To me, the green on the white jerseys looks darker as well, and the green jersey in general looks to be a bit darker, particularly around the area of the numbers.

I personally really like the jerseys. Too often, we see teams that receive new jerseys and uniforms that sometimes exaggerate the colors too much. It does not stay true to the basic, original color scheme that has become the calling card of that team, and in some instances that can render the uniforms almost unidentifiable. This is not the case with these uniforms. The colors stay true to what has made “The U” an iconic college football symbol while making the colors pop from the jersey itself.
The old adage rings, “If you look good, you’ll play good” and the Hurricanes hope that is the case in the 2015 season. Miami went 6-5 last season which included a 3-5 mark in Coastal Conference play, showing room for improvement
They open at home on September 5 against Bethune-Cookman at 6 p.m. ET.
