Things really began to heat up this year as after visiting the campus on January 24, he named Tennessee as his leading school the day after. Stopping in at their Junior Day on March 28, that was his first visit of the spring, and he would visit a little less than a month later on April 25.
Wrapping up his commitment, he took one more visit on Friday before deciding that he wanted to be a Volunteer on Saturday.
With this commitment, the 2016 Tennessee recruiting troop ranks No. 18 in the country and No. 6 in the SEC per the 247Sports Team Rankings. Three-star commit Tim Hart is the only other linebacker in the class.
The program is getting a physical linebacker. He is very aggressive in both getting past his man and during the pursuit of the ballcarrier. His speed and strength will be an asset for the Vols as they look to strengthen their defense.
