Why it’s bad: Bad Color Use, Helmet Logo

Let’s just start with what could make the whole uniform at least somewhat useable, and that’s changing that terrible logo. They have two of them, both equally bad.

The FAU lettering logo is terribly designed…like a reject from the early MTV days, with no thought to impact. The odd-looking owl logo is the other one, and it just looks like a bird about to defecate rather than a bird of prey.

FAU also has two great colors, a dark blue and cherry red, but the combinations in which they are used just don’t work. They could take a page from the New England Patriots use of those colors for something better.
