Why it’s bad: You name it

Oregon changes their uniform regularly and comes up with some eye-popping designs…some good, some not so good, but always interesting.

Maryland changes their uniform regularly and always seems to come up with new ways to offend the human eyeball. It’s a miracle more televisions haven’t melted down while broadcasting the Terps.

Incorporating the busy-busy state flag is a nice idea…in small doses. But in giant blocks on the helmet as well as in various patches on the uniform (not to mention the endzone) is going way overboard.

Tone it down, and find something a little more classic. We want to fear the turtle…not your uniforms.
