Why it’s bad: Logo, Jersey Font, Color Schemes
So it’s not that the yellow and blue combination is bad, because it’s not. Lots of teams use it and use it well. But the combinations that West Virginia comes up with, combined with that absolutely terrible WV logo that looks like it was 1970 Madison Avenue reject just makes them prime candidates for a makeover.
It’s even worse when they wear the primary white uniforms.
Then there’s the numbering on the jerseys, which just looks really odd with the rest of the design. WVU should be using a more block style number with a bigger, bolder logo on the helmet. The gold/yellow should be an accent to the blues with some white mixed in.
