Why it’s bad: Helmet Logo, Color Use
South Carolina is a member of the SEC, and yet their uniforms still look like a throwback to the old Southwest Conference.
The overuse of the brick red and black just scream drab at every turn, and when they wear the all-whites, there isn’t enough color mixed in.
But the big offender for the Gamecocks is that outdated logo. Sure, it’s hard to make a chicken look like a football logo, but you’re stuck with it now, so make it work. A much bolder and less jumbled looking logo on the white helmet would go a long way to making the Gamecocks look much better on the field.
