Since Gus Malzahn’s arrival in 2013, Auburn football has been must-see entertainment, but how will the Tigers fare this season in a very tough SEC West division?
The Auburn Tigers have been one of the most exciting teams in college football the past few seasons, and with a new quarterback and defensive coordinator set to debut this season, 2015 could prove for even more excitement.

Auburn’s non-conference schedule this season is laughable at best. The Tigers open up the season with the Louisville Cardinals, which will be a tough game, but after that, the Tigers will play host to three other non-conference teams throughout the season: Jacksonville State, San Jose State, and Idaho.
But, when you play in the SEC, especially in the SEC West, your schedule is difficult by default, as the SEC is the best conference in college football.
This season, the Tigers will host Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi State, among others, but will have to travel to Baton Rouge to face the LSU Tigers and College Station to take on the Texas A&M Aggies.
The Tigers will have a difficult road to the College Football Playoff, but many project the Tigers to finish well, despite their treacherous schedule and were the pick to win the SEC at SEC Media Days despite Alabama being picked to win the west division.
