Coming off back-to-back 10-win seasons and three consecutive wins over rival USC, the UCLA Bruins are looking to solidify their status as Los Angeles’ top college football program.
UCLA football fans are enjoying the greatest stretch in Bruins history, with 29 wins in the past three seasons and the first-ever stretch of three consecutive 10-win seasons in reach in 2015. The fact UCLA has done it with three straight victories over the Trojans makes it even sweeter.

Although quarterback Brett Hundley departed early for the NFL, this Bruins squad still appears to have a good shot at cementing their legacy as one of the most successful teams to ever grace the confines of the Rose Bowl. The Pac-12 South is loaded with top-25 teams, but with 10 starters returning on offense and 8 more on defense, don’t expect UCLA to drift back into the pack — at least not without a fight.
While five-star true freshman QB Josh Rosen will immediately be in the mix to take over for Hundley, ex-UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel’s son, Jerry, has game experience that will be tough to relegate to the sidelines given all the talent returning this season. Regardless of who earns the job, one thing is for certain: the winner will need to lead the Bruins to victory in more than a couple primetime match-ups in 2015.
