Winston declared early for the NFL Draft and was the No. 1 pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after winning as many Heisman Trophy’s and national championships as he lost games (1) in his two years as the Noles starting quarterback and the nation’s most polarizing college football player.
The former Heisman winner was reunited with his No. 1 fan when Fisher threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Sunday’s Tampa Bay Rays game and the recipient of his first pitch was none other than Winston himself.
Josh Newberg from 247Sports tweeted out video of the first pitch.
Looked like Fisher threw a strike. Solid job of framing the pitch from Winston who is the one used to throwing the ball, not catching it.
