On the Kentucky front, he was offered by the program on May 21, and took an unofficial visit to the campus a few weeks later on June 7. He did attend camps held by Ohio State and Penn State in-between that time, but he chose the Wildcats in the end.
With this commitment, Kentucky’s 2017 class ranks No. 9 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC per the 247Sports Team Rankings.
He had a tremendous year in 2014 rushing for 2,246 yards and 28 touchdowns, providing Central Catholic with a spark out of the backfield. In addition to his running ability, he has tremendous hands and is very effective on screen pass plays. Having a back that can catch is always a bonus for the quarterback as it gives him that security blanket.
In a crowded SEC, the ‘Cats are trying their best to keep up with the likes of Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri and Florida in the east and need more recruit like this one if they hope to compete.
