Michigan lands three-star recruit on weekend of annual Barbecue at the Big House and had enough time to crash a wedding.
Michigan hosted their annual Barbecue at the Big House on Sunday, and as usual it was a success. The primary offseason recruiting event for Michigan, founded by former head coach Rich Rodriguez has continued by both coaches Brady Hoke and Jim Harbaugh.

At some point through the day coach Harbaugh and a number of his recruits managed to crash a wedding on Michigan’s campus.
Aside from the barbecuing and the wedding crashing, the Wolverines also managed to take down one of their targets from the class of 2016. Sir Patrick Scott, a three-star cornerback out of Riverdale Baptist in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, committed verbally to Michigan.

The 6-foot-1, 175 pound Scott was also being pursued by Michigan State, Wisconsin, Arizona, Indiana, and Purdue, among a host of other programs, so plucking him from the grasp of a number of interested Big Ten programs is definitely a coup for the Wolverines. He’ll need to fill out his long frame and add some weight, but he’ll have plenty of time to do so before his collegiate career begins.
