Leonard Fournette may fall into the same trap that Derrick Henry will. He’s basically all the Tigers have…not that it’s a bad thing to have the problem of Fournette being your best option.

But the quarterback issues continue at LSU, and now they may be starting over on defense as well with longtime coordinator John Chavis leaving Baton Rouge for the greener pastures (literally) of College Station, Tx. and the Aggies.
Why Fournette won’t win it:
Without a solid defense, the Tigers are going to have to play a lot of come from behind this season, and that generally hurts a running game. Without a solid quarterback, they’ll not have the ball long enough to keep the defense off the field.
It will become a vicious cycle for the Tigers, and Fournette will unfortunately be caught in the crossfire. He’ll still have some great runs and exciting games, but not enough to bring home a Heisman.
