9. Paul Rhoads – Iowa State Cyclones

Career Record 29-46

Iowa native Paul Rhoads has been the head coach at Iowa State for 6 seasons. And after losing every Big 12 game last season, Rhoads is on the hot seat. Iowa State is in desperate need of a culture change if they want to become bowl eligible.

Rhoads began his coaching career at Utah State as a graduate assistant. After that he landed gigs as a defensive coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh and later Auburn. In late 2008, Rhoads was introduced as the head coach at Iowa State.

The Cyclones fan base was electrified when Rhoads lead his team to a win against the University of Texas in 2010. He recreated that energy next season when Iowa State beat undefeated Oklahoma State and ruined their national championship aspirations.

Rhoads has always been a lovable, exciting head coach, but I wonder if it is time for Iowa State to make a change.
