10. David Beaty – Kansas Jayhawks

Career Record (0-0)

David Beaty is just beginning his coaching career at Kansas University. No one is sure what to expect on the field, but this young and exciting coach has the ability to energize a stagnant fan base. Beaty, a strong recruiter will be able to build this program up the way he wants.

Charlie Weis didn’t leave Beaty with much to work with in Lawrence. After losing his starting quarterback to injury in the spring, Beaty has even less. Kansas hasn’t won a road game since 2009, so even doing that would be an achievement for the new regime.

Although Beaty is unproven as a head coach, he is an incredible recruiter. His ability to farm the state of Texas is uncanny; Kansas already have four commitments from Texas players. Beaty will be able to bring in more talent to a Jayhawks squad that desperately needs it.
