Ohio State Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott threw some serious shade at Michigan during their game against Utah.
When you’re the No. 1 team in the nation, the defending national champions and one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy you can be a little confident. Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott has just one simple message about the rival Michigan Wolverines.

During Michigan’s opener against Utah, Elliott tweeted “Shhhhhhh” after Jake Rudock threw an interception that was returned 55 yards by Justin Thomas for a touchdown to give the Utes a 14-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

King of the Twitter Trash Talk award is either going to Zeke or Cardale Jones this year because both of these guys have been some of the most entertaining college football players on Twitter.
Not that the rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State needed any more fuel added to their fire, this one-word tweet from the nation’s leading returning rusher is sure to fire up the Buckeye fan base because he torched the program with subtlety and Wolverines fans will be upset and tell people to just wait until 2017.
I can’t think of a better way to ring in the start of the new season. There should be plenty more opportunities for Elliott and other players to troll their rivals in spectacular fashion.
