The 2015 college football season is finally here, which means it’s time for the Week 1 edition of our SEC predictions against the spread.
All 14 Southeastern Conference teams kick off the season this weekend, and since 11 teams are playing against FBS competition, there is plenty of opportunity for action in Week 1. If you’re into odds and point spreads, or just like to make games a little more interesting by wagering a couple of bucks between buddies, you can find Saturday Blitz SEC predictions against the spread each week.

This week, we get the party started early with two Thursday night match-ups. As they often do, the South Carolina Gamecocks are the first team to take the field and will play North Carolina in Charlotte as a small favorite. Later, Vanderbilt is a rare SEC home underdog against a Conference USA opponent, WKU.
On Saturday, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida and Mississippi State all face FBS cupcakes, but Auburn, Texas A&M, and Alabama will be tested by the likes of Louisville, Arizona State and Wisconsin, respectively, in a trio of neutral site meetings.
Other Week 1 SEC Football games that do not currently have betting lines available because they involve FBS vs. FCS match-ups, and will not be picked against the spread are UT Martin at Ole Miss, SE Missouri State at Missouri and McNeese State at LSU.
