Derrick Henry with no regard for human life on 37-yard TD run (Video)
Alabama running back Derrick Henry is very good at football and showed why he’s a Heisman candidate on this touchdown run.
Derrick Henry finally gets his opportunity to be the unquestioned featured back in the Alabama backfield after sharing time the last two years with T.J. Yeldon.
Now college football fans get a bigger dose of the 6-3, 240-pound running back who can revolutionize the position with his combination of rare size and speed and ran right through the heart of the Wisconsin Badgers defense en route to his first score of the season and give Alabama an early 7-0 lead.
Check out the run, courtesy of The Student Section who shared a vine of the freakishly talented Henry shaking off the feeble tackle attempts from the Badgers and strike fear into the heart of defenders everywhere.
Here’s another angle from College GameDay where he just emerges from the traffic in the middle, shakes the nose guard and springs to the house for the first Alabama touchdown of the year.
If I’m a safety and have Alabama on the schedule next, I may suddenly experience a tight hamstring or a sore back and need to check myself out of the next game because trying to tackle Henry is clearly hazardous for one’s health.
