And speaking of which, the Tigers face some stiff competition this year, including an out of conference game against Ole Miss and in conference games against Temple, Cincinnati and Navy. They face Kansas away next week, who had a rough start to the 2015 season Saturday, so that shouldn’t be difficult for Memphis.
Memphis could have a tough time maintaining their spot here in the rankings, but now they look like one of the top Non-P5 teams in the nation.
