The Line: Arizona -10.5

Arizona won their week one game against Texas-San Antonio, but they lost All-American linebacker Scooby Wright III to a knee injury. Wright will be out at least two weeks and probably longer. On the field, the Wildcats did not look all that impressive in their 42-32 win. Their defense, specifically, looked more than a little suspect once their leader left the field. Nevada also looked suspect in a closer than it should have been victory over UC-Davis Aggies. Both of these programs expected better starts when they meet up Saturday at 3:00PM, PT, on CBS Sports Network.

Keys To The Game:

The Wildcats are going to score. Anu Solomon and company run an explosive offense that features weapons in both the air and ground game. Against Texas-SA, Arizona rushed for 163 yards while Solomon threw for four touchdowns. It was the defense that disappointed.

The Roadrunners threw for 332 yards while the ground game churned out 193. Giving up 300 yards passing or 200 yards rushing is bad. To almost do both in the same game against a weaker opponent is almost unfathomable. The Wolfpack ran for 232 yards and almost six yards per carry against UC-Davis. Look for Nevada to run at will against the Wright-less Wildcats.

The Prediction:

The Wolfpack run all over the place at home against Arizona, stunning the Wildcats by not just covering the spread, but by outright winning the game. Arizona fans blame the loss on the absence of Wright, but deep down they admit that the program is going to take a step back this year. The final score? Nevada 42, Arizona 38.
