Dalvin Cook had a rough offseason but he’s been outstanding so far in the regular season.

Dalvin Cook is off to one of the best starts that any running back is having at the onset of the 2015 college football season. The Florida State Seminoles sophomore had 156 yards and two touchdowns in the opener against Texas State and he picked up where he left off with a 74-yard touchdown against South Florida on Saturday.

Cook has a chance to play himself into consideration for ACC Player of the Year honors and potentially the Heisman Trophy if he can continue this torrid pace throughout the season.

Sure, he’ll face some competition from Deshaun Watson from Clemson who was the preseason pick of the ACC media and maybe from his new quarterback Everett Golson.

But you have to love how Cook has begun this year after having his name dragged through the mud after he was accused of hitting a woman outside a Tallahassee bar this summer. He was exonerated and the indefinite suspension he was serving was over, shortly before the start of the Florida State schedule.

You can watch Cook and his Florida State teammates on ESPN and chances are Cook is just getting started so you may see some more highlight-reel runs from the super sophomore.
