Marcus Mariota, Oregon greats recreate Animal House ‘Shout’ scene (Video)
Nike got some Oregon greats together to recreate the iconic ‘Shout’ scene from Animal House and it’s pretty great.
Marcus Mariota, Ahmad Rashad, Joey Harrington, Dan Fouts and other former Oregon greats got together to recreate the classic scene from Animal House where everyone gets a little bit louder now in a hilarious spoof of the “Shout” scene.
It’s so great that even Otis Day and the Knights got in on the fun and appeared in the video put together by Nike who is a proud partner of Oregon athletics.
Check out the video below and tell me this isn’t the best thing you’ve seen today.
How about the Heisman winner, Mariota, playing the Jon Belushi role and smashing the acoustic guitar?! I think Ahmad Rashad and his mustache would be the scene-stealer but Harrington and his cool shades gets the best actor award for this clip.
Oregon plays at Michigan State later today with College GameDay in attendance for the best game of the weekend between the No. 7 Ducks and No. 5 Spartans. This game is a rematch from last year’s game won by Oregon, although that game was played in Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon where thousands of fans are shouting for four quarters until they can’t shout any longer.
But if you said, “A little bit louder now” I have a hunch they’d be able to do that.
