Ole Miss DT Robert Nkemdiche runs for TD, SEC defenses put on notice (Video)

Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche just scored his second touchdown of the year…on offense.

Robert Nkemdiche was a high school running back in addition to being the top defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 1 overall recruit. But who would have imagined the 300-pound junior defensive tackle making a big impact on the Ole Miss offense this year?

Well, he had a touchdown reception last week against Tennessee-Martin as the Rebels scored 76 points on the FCS foe but Nkemdiche was at it again against Fresno State on Saturday. Nkemdiche lined up in the Ole Miss backfield at fullback in their goal line offense and took the hand off from Chad Kelly and bullied his way into the end zone for the touchdown.

So basically, Nkemdiche is the most indestructible football player in the nation and will beat you up on defense, catch touchdowns and run over players en route to the end zone. No wonder he was the top recruit in the country three years ago, an All-American candidate and a projected first round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Good luck trying to bring this hoss down with the ball in his hands and it looks like Hugh Freeze finally has found a run game in Oxford.
