Rex Ryan trolls Bret Bielema over Ohio State comment
Now even NFL coaches are taking notice of the things Bret Bielema has to say with Rex Ryan poking fun at the Arkansas head coach for putting his foot in his mouth and questioning other team’s schedules.
Last week Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema felt the need to criticize the Ohio State Buckeyes for their relative lack of strength of schedule. Despite being the unanimous No. 1 team in the country and the defending national champions, Bielema felt the need to poke the bear.

Days after making his comments, Bielema led his No. 18 Hogs to a loss to the Toledo Rockets from the MAC despite them being a three-touchdown underdog and he could barely talk in the post game conference with his foot in his mouth.
Enter Rex Ryan.
The head coach of the Buffalo Bills was asked about the challenges, via 247Sports, about playing the New England Patriots twice a year, but Ryan wasn’t about to pull a Bielema.
“Do I wish the Patriots were in a different division? I mean yeah, probably. Could play somebody else. Not gonna mention any names. I’m not gonna pull [an] Arkansas coach.”
There you have it, even Bielema’s boisterous claims have made it to the NFL where they have joined Ohio State, Toledo and rival SEC fan bases in making fun of Bielema.
Bielema tried to make himself and his team look good by trying to knock the best team in the country that would probably beat Arkansas 42-10 to placate Arkansas fans who could use that as a rallying cry why they are somehow a better team because they play in the SEC.
All Bielema did was put a target on his back that Toledo had no trouble hitting and Ryan had no trouble hitting.
Wonder if this will mean Bielema will remain silent on things not concerning his team moving forward?
Probably not.
