In Michigan State’s contest against Air Force, wide receiver Aaron Burbridge made an incredible, sprawling catch.
I will file this next highlight under the “Wow” category. Senior Aaron Burbridge of Michigan State snagged one of the best catches of the season on Saturday against Air Force to close an 87-yard drive with a touchdown. The catch resulted in a touchdown after the reversal of the call after it initially was called incomplete on the field.
As he flew through the air, he was able to get one foot in bounds to make the catch. How he did that exactly I do not know, but as you can see, he did a nice job of not only finding the ball, but snagging it out of the air and maintaining control to make the catch.

To make this even more impressive was the lack of separation from his defender. The coverage initially was pretty good, but Burbridge did a nice job of sacrificing his body for the team and leaving it all on the field.
Coming into the game, Burbridge had 12 receptions for 218 yards and a touchdown. As of this post he had over 150 yards and three touchdowns on the day today, so to say he is having a career game would be an understatement. He has become a bigger part of the Spartan offense and that is clear by his production thus far this afternoon.
Two weeks into the season, we have seen some incredible plays. It only leaves me wanting more, and I am sure for many fans could agree with that sentiment.
