Loser: The “My First Bama Game” Kid
Signs don’t just appear at ESPN College GameDay, they’re also part of what makes watching the actual game so much fun. But sometimes that fun can turn tragic.
At Bryant-Denny stadium in Tuscaloosa, the Alabama fan base is well-known for having put the “fan” in fanatic. They start them off young — even in the crib — to learn how to say “Rooooolllll Tide” and the importance of crimson, white and houndstooth.
So near the end of the game against Ole Miss (you know, that game where the Rebels had no chance to win, but somehow managed to hang 43 points in a victory over the Crimson Tide), the cameras moved to a sad young fan holding up a sign that read, “My First Bama Game”
Welcome to the real life world of being a college sports fan, kid.
Sadly, there aren’t any pictures of the lad floating around, but he was noticed.
That poor kid holding up sign “My First Bama Game.” He’s going to have scars.
