Maryland had a nice bounce-back win after being embarrassed by Bowling Green the week before. Maryland outgained South Florida 411-300 and averaged six yards per play. The Terrapins overcame three interceptions in the win.
Maryland quarterback Caleb Rowe threw the three interceptions but also tossed four touchdowns. He will need to be a lot more consistent going forward into conference play. Maryland being a 16.5-point favorite against West Virginia in Week 4 tells what oddsmakers think of the Terrapins.
