Michigan 28, UNLV 7

After three games in the Jim Harbaugh era, it is clear that Michigan has an identity this season. They will play strong defense and run the ball. The Wolverines scored two of their four touchdowns on long runs including one by Ty Isaac for 76 yards. So the 377 total yards and 5.9 yards per play is a little misleading against an awful UNLV defense.

Michigan has a very interesting encounter with BYU in Week 4. The Wolverines opened as a six-point favorite and now the line is down to five points. The bigger line more is in the point total, which has gone from 48 to 45. It’s a justifiable line move if the Wolverines continue to run the ball and play defense effectively.
