Fancred launches their live streaming and real-time scores today as they grow from a social media platform to a global sports media platform to enrich the experience for fans who want as much information they can reach from their phones, tablets and computers.
“We believe the next great global sports media brand will be one that provides fans a personalized sports experience within editorial content, commerce and social,” said Fancred’s CEO, Hossein Kash Razzaghi. “We started with social and are excited to build on our incredible community by adding live streaming and scores to the Fancred experience.”
I’ll be involved with their live stream feature that will allow the capturing of five minutes of video, which I’ll be using to share some insight about the content created on Blitz and will be able to direct viewers of the videos on Fancred back to links on Blitz for you to read.
It’s about trying to reach out to as many potential readers as possible to share the work we’re doing at Saturday Blitz and this video feature will be a fun and new way to engage with the readers in a different forum than the comments section.
I can show you a behind the scenes look to my process of constructing articles, show you what goes inside my war room on Saturday’s and offer some commentary before, during and after games so you can get more of the opinions and content you love to read, but now you’ll be able to watch it.
I’ll have recurring weekly segments where I’ll share my thoughts on the games of the week, potential upsets, updated Heisman rankings and more.
