Nicholls State Colonels at Colorado Buffaloes

Boulder, Colorado

The Line: No Line

A game featuring an FCS school in Nicholls State against the one team in the Pac-12 South that everyone agrees has no shot of playing in the conference championship game. Seriously, who will be watching this one Saturday morning at 9:30AM, pacific time on the Pac-12 Network?

Keys To The Game:

The Colonels come into this one 0-2, and have been outscored 67-10 in their two games against Louisiana-Monroe and Incarnate Word. Nicholls State quarterbacks threw four interceptions against Incarnate Word and could muster up just 10 points against a team playing in the Southland conference. I hope the Buffaloes enjoy their victory, because they are definitely shelling out some dough to run all over a poor FCS school.

The Prediction:

Nelson Spruce and company roll in the least exciting game on the Pac-12 schedule, but no one watches it. The announcers spend much of the second half talking about the upcoming games that matter while Colorado’s fifth string players finally see the field.

Final score: Colorado 49, Nicholls State 0.
