Lee Corso headgear selection on College GameDay (Video)
Who did Lee Corso pick between Arizona and UCLA for his headgear selection on College GameDay?
It’s become the signature moment of the three-hour pregame show that is College GameDay. He’s been a character for much of his time on the show but Lee Corso’s headgear selection is one of the most anticipated events on the show when he dons the headgear of the mascot he’s picking to win the game of the week.

This week, GameDay was in Tucson for the game between Rich Rodriguez’ Arizona Wildcats and Jim Mora’s UCLA Bruins. Guest picker Bob Baffert was on hand and even did a special video pick with Triple Crown race horse American Pharoah who picked UCLA.
However, Corso had to pull a not so fast my four-legged friend out because he picked the home team, going with the Wildcats to beat the Bruins.
For the first time in the history of GameDay, Corso picked Arizona for the headgear pick of the week, so hopefully that’s a good sign for Anu Solomon, Nick Wilson and Scooby Wright as they take on Josh Rosen, Paul Perkins and a banged up UCLA defense.
Do you agree with Corso and think Arizona will have enough to get past a UCLA team that handled them easily in last year’s game? Or do you think UCLA’s freshman quarterback Rosen gets it done despite the return of the nation’s top defender in Wright?
