Shaq is on the Leonard Fournette bandwagon and thinks the LSU running back is going to win the Heisman Trophy.
From one transcendent talent at LSU to another. Former LSU big man and future Hall of Famer, Shaquille O’Neal knows who is going to win the Heisman Trophy later this year and it’s LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette.
Shaq sent out a tweet during the second half of the Tigers game against the Syracuse Orange where it looks like Fournette is the only one who came to play for LSU today and proclaimed the Heisman race over.
Lsu #7 MR FOURNETTE 2015 HEISMANN WINNER you heard it here first #GeauxTigers

The Shaq endorsement is an awesome show of support from the LSU legend for Fournette, but Shaq is far from the first guy to predict a Heisman for the player averaging more rushing yards per game than any player in the nation.
One week after rushing for a career-high 228 yards and matching his career-high with three touchdowns, Fournette is on pace to set a new career-high and threaten the LSU single-game rushing mark held by Alley Broussard with 250 yards.
He has 213 yards on 19 carries entering the fourth quarter and he had an 87-yard touchdown run called back in the third quarter because of an illegal formation penalty otherwise he’d be the new LSU single-game record holder and would extend his lead in the Heisman race.
But I’m not going to disagree with Shaq. Let’s call the race and hand him the Trophy now.
