Joshua Dobbs started off a little shaky at quarterback for the Vols against the Gators, but as a wide receiver, he’s making plays.
Tennessee prides themselves on the wide receivers who have come through Knoxville throughout the years so they call the program WRU (wide receiver university) and they have a surprising new addition to that fraternity.
Quarterback Joshua Dobbs started a little shaky under center and the offensive line play in front of him is a primary reason for that, but as a wide receiver, he’s the Vols leading receiver on the day.

It was a great call for the Vols who go the Florida defense moving in one direction and then it was executed perfectly for the touchdown. Dobbs tossed it to Jauan Jennings, a former quarterback turned wide receiver, who tossed it back to Dobbs who raced up the right sideline for the game tying touchdown to make it a 7-7 game.
You can watch the SEC East showdown on CBS as the Vols look to snap a 10-game losing streak to their division rivals but they’ll need Dobbs to make plays as a passer if they’re going to end the Gators decade of dominance.
But that was a pretty nifty play that will look even better if the Vols get the win.
