Are the Huskers two plays away from 4-0 or one play away from 1-3? The answer is both. Nebraska almost let another one slip away vs Southern Miss, 36-28. Nebraska should not be messing around with the likes of Southern Miss.
The Huskers all but beat BYU and stormed back to take Miami to overtime on the road. Nebraska seems to play up or down to its competition.
I rank this team higher than four teams with better records. Nebraska has played arguably the toughest non-conference schedule in the conference. They have made many mistakes and a few huge blunders. They have competed though.
Don’t be shocked if Nebraska makes noise in the West.
