1. Fournette and Chubb are 1-2 for the Heisman

Both games happened to be going on at the same time with similar results. Fournette was continuing his world domination tour in New York against Syracuse. He finished the game with 244 yards and two touchdown while finishing the game with 9.4 yards a carry. Fournette already has 631 yards and 8 touchdowns in just three games.

Not only does he have eye-popping stats, but he physically dominates opponents. His play through the first month of the season has many people calling him the front-runner for the Heisman Trophy award.

Meanwhile, Nick Chubb was doing his best to put himself into Herschel Walker territory. Chubb has had 12 straight games with 100 or more rushing yards which tied him with Walker for the record. He has the opportunity to break the record on Saturday against Alabama. Through four games into the season, Chubb has rushed for 599 yards and six touchdowns.

While many have questioned where the elite quarterbacks have gone in the SEC, there is no doubt that the conference is full of running backs. Fournette and Chubb have proved they are not just two of the best backs in the conference but in the entire country.
