Looking ahead to Week 4 of the 2015 college football season, several ranked and favored teams face tough tests. What five squads should be on upset alert?
Time definitely does fly by as we head into the month of October for Week 5 of college football. You might even be bummed that the season is a third of the way over, but it won’t compare to the depression that some teams will feel after being upset this weekend on the gridiron. It’s unavoidable and what makes Saturday’s great.

Now that we are into conference play, the competition heats up and the spreads get lower. Unless it’s your alma mater or favorite team, everyone loves an underdog. Just eight games remain for most teams and each week it gets harder and harder to leave with a win.
Just last week we saw four ranked teams go down including Oregon, Georgia Tech, BYU, and Missouri. Sure, three of those programs lost on the road, but the Ducks took a beating in Eugene at the hands of the Utah Utes. Whether it’s home or away, you can always expect the unexpected in college football.
You won’t find another major sport where one loss can mean so much in the quest for a national championship. So the question now is, who can survive in Week 5 to live another day? Whose hopes of a national championship are dashed? Let’s take a look at five teams that could potentially see their season spoiled on Saturday.
