With Lorenzo Nunez under center for South Carolina, he chucked up a prayer off his back foot, which will have Steve Spurrier irate in the film room this week, that should have been intercepted by Missouri. The one problem with that is the Missouri defender didn’t come down with the easy catch and then he made matters worse by deflecting the pass right in the hands of the South Carolina receiver for the touchdown.
Let this just be further proof that sometimes you’d rather be lucky than good. Missouri is still having a good first half with Drew Lock making his first career start in the place of suspended starter Maty Mauk but that score was enough to make things interesting in the SEC East showdown.
