Updated Heisman Trophy odds after Week 5 sees LSU running back Leonard Fournette extend his lead.

The record-breaking running back would likely set another record if the Heisman vote was taken today and set a record for the most first-place votes and the largest margin of victory. He’s not just playing great. Fournette is playing in his own world right now and we’re all just witness to the greatness he’s leaving out on the field on Saturday.

Through four games, Fournette leads the nation with 864 yards on 99 carries, 11 touchdowns and an average of 216 yards per game. All that is good enough to make him the 1/2 betting favorite through Week 5. Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott who is coming off a 275-yard game against Indiana is tied for a distance second with Baylor quarterback at 8/1.
