They hung close with the Golden Bears prior to their bye week, which could say more about California, but things will start to shake out as we get into the bulk of conference play. They head to Los Angeles to take on the Trojans on a Thursday night.

The Huskies have proved to be fairly decent this season, despite going into the season with a huge question mark at quarterback, losing three first round picks to the NFL, and dismissing one of their top corners in Naijiel Hale a few weeks ago. They have a pretty stingy defense, allowing just under 16 points a game, and might have a shot pulling off an upset later this season, on a cold Washington night.
Washington is a hard team to read. They haven’t played great competition, but they’ve hung on close in their two losses to those teams (BYU and Cal). This is currently a middle of the road team that could end up being bowl eligible, making the conference look stronger from top to bottom.
